Speedgoat Market is an online, year-round farmers’ market serving Fremont County and the Wind River Indian Reservation. As of this post (Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021), the market is in a “pilot phase,” meaning that several “pilot vendors” and “pilot customers” are trying out the system and providing feedback on what works and what doesn’t. If you’re interested in being a pilot vendor, or a pilot customer, email [email protected].
During the initial pilot phase, the sales period starts on Sunday at noon and ends on Tuesday at noon. Products purchased can be picked up from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Speedgoat Market hopes to open to more vendors and more customers on Sunday, Feb. 14, and plans to move out of the pilot phase on Sunday, Feb. 28.
It’s important to note that current operating days and hours are for the initial pilot phase only, and are likely to change.
The Lander Valley Farmers Market would like to thank its partners for making Speedgoat Market possible. The LOR Foundation provided a grant to make this project a reality through the summer. Wind River Farm to Plate provided board support and money to help create the website. CWC will be providing a refrigerated truck that will allow Speedgoat Market to have pick up and drop off locations throughout Fremont County and on the Wind River Indian Reservation. They are also applying for grants that will see Speedgoat Market through several years of operation. Finally, thank you for being a vendor and/or a customer. Without vendors and customers, there wouldn’t be a market.
