Sourdough Pizza Dough (Frozen)

Allow to thaw to almost room temp (about 3hrs) *carefully remove plastic wrap and lay it gently over the top of the dough to allow it to rise slightly while thawing
Preheat a cast iron skillet on the stove top.
Turn dough out onto floured surface, then sprinkle top with flour. With floured hands, pat and gently stretch dough out into about an 8″ circle without tearing it.
Carefully transfer onto cast iron skillet and cook till bottom is crispy and starts to scorch, while preheating broiler on high. Add toppings, then move skillet to broiler to finish baking pizza.
*if you don’t have a cast iron skillet, you can pre-cook the crust on a pizza stone or pizza pan in the oven for a few minutes, then pull it out and add toppings before returning it to the oven to finish cooking.
